COVID-19

A Mission of Legacy at Odessa Renia Salon

To our Amazing Guests,

I would like to thank you for your patience and support during this difficult time. After 10 weeks of our mandatory COVID-19 “Safer at Home” closure, Odessa Renia Salon is ready to open for business! This past Friday, our state approved hair salons to reopen with restrictions citing a new health order called “ Safer at Work and in the Community.” This means we can start accepting clients again, while establishing a new strict protocol.

Today, I am happy to share with you the Health and Safety Standards that will be implemented at the salon. These new procedures will be in place until it is safe for us to relax them. I hope this document can act as a resource, so that you may feel comfortable while getting your hair care needs met at Odessa Renia Salon. I hope that we will continue to earn your loyalty and trust by providing same great service you remember.

A New Legacy at Odessa Renia Salon

I believe that taking care of our communities is one of the first steps we need to take toward recovery — if this crisis has taught us anything, it is that we are all connected and that the success of one is intrinsically linked to the success of all. The mission at Odessa Renia Salon has always been to provide an environment where young stylists can work and receive a quality education in hair care standards, entrepreneurship and client relations. It is important to me that we continue to operate as a community and support one another as we navigate these uncharted waters.

Over the coming months, I will be looking to invite a new apprentice into the salon for mentoring and education. I’ve always believed in the importance of paying it forward and building a legacy of knowledge for young Black stylists. You see, when I was entering this field as a young stylist, I myself had someone who helped make my dream a reality. My promise to pay it forward has been the driving force behind Odessa Renia Salon.

With that being said, let’s move on and get you scheduled!

I am trying my best to get every client who needs a service an appointment. Time is as valuable, so please respect that appointment spaces are limited.

Let’s Do This!

I hope to get back to a new normal soon. In the meantime, these protocols will continue to be adjusted as the new guidelines and safety precautions are released by the local government and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
